Residential Program Option

Cybercamps Academy is the obvious choice for kids who want an unforgettable summer experience of learning cool technologies, making new friends and having lots of fun along the way. Our flexible scheduling options make it easy for busy parents to let their kids attend a summer computer Program. For kids 10 years and older, our residential options take the summer learning experience to a whole new level.

Residential Program Option – Open to youth ages 10-17

Hours: Cybercamps Academy offers its residential Program option beginning Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. through Friday 5:00 p.m.
Awards Celebration: On Friday afternoon, parents are invited to come to Cybercamps Academy to celebrate their child’s creative achievements and genius from the previous week. This celebration typically begins around 3:45 (times may vary slightly by location). The Awards Celebration also includes exciting visual presentations and opportunities to view projects of the week.
Meals: All meals are included in the residential program option. This covers evening snacks on Sunday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Thursday; and breakfast and lunch on Friday. For more details on the dining options available, click here.
Activities: Just over one-third of each day is spent working on individual computer and technology projects at Cybercamps Academy . Breaks, lunchtime, games (indoor and outdoor), and shared interest group projects fill out the robust schedule.

Roommates

Residential program participants can request a specific roommate during the time of their registration. If no special request is made, we strive to match up roommates according to age and interest.

Security and Supervision

Our night facilitator focuses solely on making our evening program a success. This person fulfills the same basic requirements as an Academy director and they receive extra training in safety procedures and healthcare. In fact, in many of our locations this person holds an EMT certification. The night facilitator is there to make sure each evening is awesome! Some of the safe and fun nighttime activities could include making a Video and Special FX™ Movie, having a LAN-Party, competing in a Dance Dance Revolution® contest, going to the lounge for pool and card games, or running around campus playing night laser tag. After the fun and games are over, it's lights out! The night supervisor stays in the dorm facilities for added security and supervision. It’s just another example of how Cybercamps Academy is much more than your average computer Program!
